The Blur founder established Blast, which declared the testnet’s formal launch and introduced the Blast BIG BANG competition to inspire developers.

Winning dapps will be promoted to Blast users upon mainnet debut, per the announcement on X. It is anticipated that the mainnet will debut in late February. Developers will receive 50% of the Blast airdrop, with the remaining 50% going to Blast staking users. Attained $1.368 billion for Blast TVL.
The competition is divided into eight categories: miscellaneous, Perp Dexes, spot dexes, loan protocols, NFT/gamings, socialFi, GambleFi, and infrastructure. There will be winners in each category.
