Cometh has partnered with Transak to pioneer the first direct fiat-to-Layer 3 blockchain onboarding solution, enhancing the user experience for crypto purchases. This integration allows users to buy cryptocurrency directly on Cometh using a credit card, streamlining the process for players of Cometh’s game, Cosmik Battle, to purchase Ethereum (ETH) and participate in the NFT marketplace on Muster without intermediaries.

Streamlined Process for Cosmik Battle Players

Previously, users faced multiple steps to pay or upload currency to Cometh’s Arbitrum Orbit, Muster. The new partnership eliminates the need for intermediary crypto tokens and complex bridging processes, making gaming and transactions more efficient. According to a Cometh press release, this integration simplifies the customer experience, allowing players to buy crypto directly within the game.

In Cosmik Battle, players can now purchase ETH with a credit card, enabling them to acquire cards from other players within the game’s marketplace. This innovation tackles the issues faced by dApp developers and Layer 3 blockchains, offering a direct protocol-level interaction method.

How It Works

The process is straightforward and consists of three steps:

  1. Users purchase ETH on Muster L3 directly within Cosmik Battle using Transak One.
  2. Transak sends the ETH to the user’s smart wallet on Muster through Cometh’s Arbitrum One smart contract.
  3. The transaction completes in under two minutes, giving users quick access to their funds for marketplace activities on Muster.

This streamlined method replaces the previously complicated process of buying cryptocurrency on a Layer 2 solution and bridging it to Muster’s chain, which had deterred many users.
