With the theme “Beyond the Frame,” this year’s edition promises to push boundaries by blending independent cinema, decentralization, and the power of community-driven storytelling.
What began in 2023 as the world’s first Bitcoin-focused film festival has now evolved into a global platform for filmmakers, artists, educators, and entrepreneurs. BFF continues to uphold its founding ethos, where permissionless art meets radical freedom of expression.

A Cinematic Celebration Rooted in Bitcoin Ideals
BFF25 kicks off with European Bitcoin Pizza Day celebrations on May 22, commemorating the first real-world Bitcoin transaction. This semi-official networking day sets the stage for the three main days of the festival, running May 23–25.
The lineup features:
Feature Films, Documentaries & Shorts: Films such as UNBANKABLE, SATOSHI THE MOVIE, HOTEL BITCOIN, THE MAN WHO WOULDN’T CRY, and REVOLUCIÓN BITCOIN will be screened, followed by live Q&A sessions with creators.
