Kuala Lumpur, 30 September 2025 – The Cyber Digital Services, Defence and Security Asia Exhibition and Conference (CyberDSA 2025) officially commenced today at the Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), uniting global cybersecurity leaders under the theme “Pioneering the Future: Building a Resilient and Trusted Digital Nation.”

Running from 30 September to 2 October, the three-day event draws more than 8,000 trade professionals from 45 countries and 150 exhibitors from 15 nations, underscoring Malaysia’s growing influence as a regional cybersecurity hub.

Cyber Resilience: The New Currency of Trust

Officiating the event, YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital, called for a collective shift toward proactive cyber defence.

“Cyber resilience is not an optional investment — it is the new currency of trust in global trade and governance,” he said. “AI-driven attacks, supply chain vulnerabilities, and threats to critical infrastructure are no longer distant concerns. They are real risks that demand immediate, coordinated responses.”

He emphasized that building digital trust is key to enabling economic growth, effective governance, and public confidence in an increasingly connected world.

Strengthening Malaysia’s Regional Cyber Leadership

Positioning Malaysia at the forefront of regional collaboration, YBrs. Al-Ishsal Ishak, Chairman of CyberSecurity Malaysia, highlighted CyberDSA’s role as a catalyst for real-world impact.

“CyberDSA is where vision turns into operational outcomes. It unites strategy, technology, and people in ways no single entity can achieve alone,” he said.

The event reinforces Malaysia’s commitment to cross-border intelligence sharing, policy alignment, and partnership-building, strengthening its reputation as a model for cybersecurity resilience in Asia.

Exploring the Frontiers of Cybersecurity

CyberDSA 2025 features 80 expert speakers from 15 countries, leading discussions across key themes such as:

  • AI, Alliances & Digital Defence: Securing the Future of Nations

  • Cyber Command & Quantum Threats: Redefining National and Regional Defence

  • Digital Fortresses: Financial Sector Resilience & Cyber Response Readiness

Major highlights include the ASEAN Cyber Defence Network (ACDN) Meeting, Military Intelligence, Law Enforcement and Security Agencies Conference (MIESAC), and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Symposium — all aimed at translating strategic dialogue into tangible outcomes for national and enterprise-level resilience.

Interactive elements like Hackathons, OSINT Labs, Flash Talks, and E-Games showcases provide hands-on opportunities for emerging talent to innovate and tackle real-world cyber threats. Dedicated networking and B2B sessions are designed to foster partnerships that extend beyond the event.

A Platform for Global Collaboration

YBhg. Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Chairman of Aerosea Exhibitions Sdn. Bhd., reaffirmed CyberDSA’s mission of fostering global cooperation in cybersecurity.

“From the beginning, CyberDSA was never about hosting another exhibition. It was about building a platform where governments, industries, and innovators collaborate to chart the future of cybersecurity. Today, that vision stands as a symbol of trust, innovation, and resilience for the region and beyond.”

Joint Commitment for a Secure Digital Future

CyberDSA 2025 is jointly hosted by CyberSecurity Malaysia and the Defence Cyber and Electromagnetic Division of the Malaysian Armed Forces, with strong support from the Ministry of Digital, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Defence, National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), Royal Malaysia Police, and Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).

Organised by Aerosea Exhibitions Sdn. Bhd., CyberDSA continues to grow as a world-class platform for cybersecurity innovation, collaboration, and resilience.
