A major step forward for the decentralised application platform has been reached with the launch of Chromia’s MVP Mainnet, a Layer-1 relational blockchain platform. The Chromia network’s foundation is laid with the launch of the native CHR coin, paving the way for ecosystem expansion.
The MVP Mainnet launch is a pivotal moment for Chromia, enabling the migration of ERC-20 and BEP-20 CHR tokens to the network. The launch also establishes essential functions including payment of network hosting fees and provider payouts, managed on Chromia’s infrastructure.
With great excitement, Chromia’s co-founder Henrik Hjelte said, “After years of development, we are thrilled to see the concept of relational blockchain become a reality. The MVP Mainnet represents a significant step forward in realising our vision.” “Our journey began twelve years ago with Coloured Coins, the world’s first token protocol,” Hjelte said.
With Chromia’s relational blockchain method, complicated searches and computations are performed more quickly and efficiently by redefining the way data is organised and managed on-chain. This innovation improves overall efficiency and usability by doing away with the requirement for data availability layers and third-party indexing services.
